Saltwater Aquarium Handbook is excellently written by George Blasiola who is a Marine Biologist B.S., M.A., is an internationally known specialist in marine fish biology, especially in the area of marine fish diseases. Since, the author is highly qualified in this field the book covers lots of important topics regarding saltwater aquarium. The book provides all the basic information on maintaining correct water chemistry and temperature, and on keeping saltwater fish, shellfish, coral, and plants in a well balanced aquarium.

This book can be considered as a general guide as it covers all the basic information needed while setting up of a saltwater tank. It offers basic instructions on how to setup a tank, along with suggested maintenance and species selection. This book doesn’t cover all the important topics in detail but the information provided in this book is well written and very informative.
